You're trusting us with your sales, your customers and your books. Here is plainly what we do to protect them, and what we don't do with them.
Every record is tagged to your business and every query is scoped to it, so one business can never see another's sales, customers or books. Staff only see the branch they're assigned to.
Passwords are stored as one-way bcrypt hashes (hashed, not encrypted), so nobody at LimaPOS can read yours, including us. You can also switch on two-factor sign-in using any authenticator app.
Served over HTTPS, with session cookies marked secure and HTTP-only so scripts can't read them. Sign-in attempts are rate limited, and every action that changes data carries a CSRF token.
Sensitive actions, such as voiding an entry, resetting a password or changing permissions, are written to an audit log with the user and the time. Financial entries are never silently deleted: a correction posts a reversal, so the history stays intact.
We don't sell, rent or share your business data with advertisers or data brokers. We use it to run the service you're paying for, and nothing else. Card and M-Pesa payment details are handled by the payment provider; we don't store card numbers.
Export your sales, stock, customers and financial reports to CSV or PDF whenever you like, with no request and no waiting. If you ever leave, your data leaves with you.
